Poppies Bali is a small garden hotel on Poppies Lane 1 in central Kuta, about 300 m from Kuta Beach, open since 1980. It has 20 thatched Balinese cottages with garden bathrooms and private terraces, set among gardens and lily ponds around a pool with a jacuzzi and a pool bar. Its own Poppies Restaurant, opened in 1973, is across the lane.

- Its 20 cottages, built in 1980-81 in a former coconut grove and last renovated in 2022, have thatched roofs, coral walls, carved Balinese doors, a king bed or twin beds, a mosquito-screened garden bathroom with a sunken marble bathtub, and a private terrace where breakfast is served.
- The bougainvillea-framed pool, added in 1987, has a shallow area for small children, a jacuzzi and a pool attendant from 7 am to 6 pm; the pool bar serves the full restaurant menu, and a small library sits beside it.
- Poppies Restaurant, opened in 1973 and one of Kuta's oldest, is across the lane in its own garden, serving Indonesian and international dishes and a rijsttafel from 8 am to 11 pm.
- Traditional Indonesian massages are given in the cottages or by the pool, room service runs from 8 am to 10:30 pm, and the hotel's car and driver can be hired for tours of the island.
