Bali Ice Skating Arena
Play & adventure in Kuta (South Bali).
Bali Ice Skating Arena is the island's only permanent ice rink, opened in 2019 on the top floor of Mal Bali Galeria, by the Simpang Siur roundabout on the Ngurah Rai bypass in Kuta, in the mall's west wing behind the Gramedia bookshop. Skating is in sessions of an hour and a half with skate hire included, and when it opened the ice covered about 300 square metres in a hall kept at around 17°C. A café beside the rink seats those who watch, and KOKOLOKO is in the same mall.
With children
Children skate on real ice, beginners pushing a penguin-shaped skating aid until they find their balance, with rink staff on hand to help; it suits skaters from about four. Long socks are compulsory with the skates; bring gloves and a light jacket, as the hall is cold. Weekdays are quieter, while weekends and holidays bring queues.
