Echo Beach
Beach in Pererenan (South Bali).
Echo Beach, or Pantai Batu Mejan, is the stretch of black sand where Canggu meets Pererenan, next to Pererenan Beach, with rocks and reef that show along part of the shore at low tide. Its reef break draws experienced surfers, and the sharp reef and strong currents make it a poor place to swim. Cafes line the shore, and late afternoon, when the surfers are out and the sun sets over the sea, is the busiest time.
