Gumuh Sari Rekreasi
Water park in Darmasaba (Central Bali).
Gumuh Sari Rekreasi is a local family water park on Jalan Tegal Gumuh in Darmasaba, on the back road between Denpasar and Ubud, about 10 km south-west of Ubud, opened in 2016. Around a garden set with gazebos lie a children's pool, an adult pool under a canopy and an Olympic-size pool, with several water slides, a tipping bucket, a foam pool and an indoor children's playground. A gym, a futsal court and a restaurant share the grounds.
With children
Several slides mean little queueing; children also duck under the tipping bucket, splash in the foam pool and the shallow children's pool and dry off in the indoor playground. Nearly all of it is in full sun, shaded only by gazebos and the adult pool's canopy. The big pools are deep: keep young children in theirs and stay with them.
