A 49-room boutique hotel designed by architect Andra Matin on the quieter west side of Gili Trawangan near Sunset Point, with Cocoon and Cabana rooms, standalone Cabana Deluxe bungalows and a beachfront villa with a plunge pool. It has an art-lined pool, an all-day restaurant, a pizza and wine bar and the Skinny Dip Sunset Club pool and beach club.

• The 49 rooms range from 19 sqm Cocoon rooms and 36 sqm Cabana rooms to standalone 52-55 sqm Cabana Deluxe bungalows, a single Cabana Les Fauves, and a 96 sqm one-bedroom beachfront Cottage Villa with a plunge pool and sea view.
• The hotel was designed by Indonesian architect Andra Matin and sits a few minutes' walk from Sunset Point on the west side of Gili Trawangan.
• Its art-lined pool, which the hotel calls the longest on the island, was created with Les Fauves Island, the gallery and concept space of the Indonesian artist Rizz, which is also the hotel's art gallery.
• Lumi Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner by the beach, Baro Gili Trawangan serves slow-fermented pizza, coffee and natural wine, and Lumi BBQ grills seafood on selected evenings; drinks are served at the Les Fauves Pool Bar and the Skinny Dip Sunset Club.
• Activities include sunrise yoga, in-room spa treatments, snorkelling, diving, fishing trips, horse riding and an Indonesian cooking class, and bikes can be rented.
