Gili Trawangan Sunset Beach
Beach in Gili Islands (Islands).
Sunset Beach runs the length of Gili Trawangan's west coast, a walk or bike ride across the island from the harbor. Bars put beanbags on the sand, swings stand in the shallows and horses are ridden along the shore, and in the late afternoon people gather to watch the sun go down, with Bali's Mount Agung on the horizon on clear evenings. A wide, shallow reef flat lies offshore, so swimming is best at high tide; low tide exposes coral rubble, and reef shoes help.
