Pulaki Temple
Temple in Pemuteran (North Bali).
Pura Pulaki is a sea temple on the coast road just east of Pemuteran, built against a rocky hillside facing the water and linked by legend to the priest Dang Hyang Nirartha. A large troop of long-tailed macaques lives around it and is regarded as the temple's guardians. Keep bags, glasses and food out of reach, and wear a sarong to go inside.
