Kuber Bali Adventure is a quad-bike centre at Melinggih Kelod in Payangan, about half an hour's drive north of Ubud, running since 2016. After a safety briefing and a short practice, guides lead single and tandem quads through rice fields, jungle, a river and a mud zone on a ride of about an hour. A longer route of about an hour and a half adds a 400-metre tunnel through the hillside and a ride through a waterfall. Showers and a café wait back at the base.
With children
Children of six to twelve ride behind a parent or family member on a tandem quad, through the river and the mud; from 13 they may drive their own. Under-sixes are not insured and the operator advises against them. Book directly: some booking sites take riders only from 13. The long route's dark tunnel can scare young children.
