Museum in Denpasar (South Bali).
Kebon Vintage Cars is a private motor museum in Kesiman Kertalangu, East Denpasar, about 5 km north of central Sanur, opened to the public in 2019 by the collector Jos Dharmawan. Well over 100 vehicles fill its long roofed sheds, from a Ford Model T and 1920s Dodge Brothers cars to 1950s American convertibles, Minis, three-wheeled bemos, buses and trucks, among old petrol pumps and phone boxes turned into display cases. An outdoor diner serves drinks and gelato.
With children
Car-mad children of three and up walk the rows of chrome-trimmed cars, three-wheeled bemos, buses and trucks and spot the old petrol pumps along the way. It was not made for children, so keep small hands off the paintwork unless staff say otherwise. The cars stand in roofed sheds, out of the sun and rain.
