Caow Eng Bio
Temple in Tanjung Benoa (South Bali).
Caow Eng Bio is a Chinese temple in the old fishing village near the northern tip of Tanjung Benoa, said to have been founded by sailors from Hainan centuries ago. Its red halls hold shrines to a sea goddess and other deities, and a Hindu temple stands close by. Visitors are welcome outside ceremonies; dress modestly and ask before photographing worshippers.
