The Tamarind Resort is a small hillside resort in Jungut Batu on Nusa Lembongan, built around a 300-year-old tamarind tree a few minutes' walk from Jungutbatu Beach. It has 12 suites of about 50 sq m and three private villas on three levels with kitchens and roof terraces. Facilities include two infinity pools, a children's pool, Indica restaurant, Amlika spa and an air-conditioned gym.

• On a hillside at the southern end of Jungut Batu village on Nusa Lembongan, a 2 to 4 minute walk from Jungutbatu Beach and about 30 minutes by fast boat from Sanur; village restaurants are a few minutes' walk away.
• The suites, about 50 sq m, come as Candrika (garden terraces next to the restaurant), Atapa (balcony daybeds facing the ocean and Mount Agung) and Pavana (corner suites with ocean and sunset views); interconnecting suites and cribs are available.
• The private villas, on three levels, have up to three bedrooms, a semi-open living room, a full kitchen and a rooftop terrace looking over the ocean, Mount Agung and the village, and can be booked with one, two or three bedrooms.
