Hiliwatu, Bali Ubud is a Marriott Tribute Portfolio resort that opened in January 2026 in Bresela village, Payangan, north of central Ubud, on 26,000 m2 of forested hillside. It has 38 keys: 24 suites in the main building, 12 one-bedroom villas and two larger villas with private heated pools, plus the Omber and Tapis restaurants, the Nira bar by the main pool, Samya Wellness, a 24-hour gym and a heliport.

• In Bresela village in the Payangan district, about 9 km north of central Ubud, on 26,000 m2 of hillside that steps down in several levels into a forested valley; The Kayon Jungle Resort is about 340 m away. It opened on 15 January 2026.
• 38 keys: 24 suites in the main building with private balconies, walk-in showers and wooden bathtubs (Agoda gives the Hili Panoramic Suite 60 m2), 12 one-bedroom villas of about 150 m2 with private heated pools, and one three-bedroom and one four-bedroom villa down the side of the valley.
• Omber, the signature restaurant, cooks Mediterranean grill and steakhouse dishes over fire; Tapis serves Balinese heritage dishes, with sunken lounges and bonfires; Nira is the bar and lounge opening onto the main pool, 20 m above the valley, and a pool bar looks over rice terraces.
• Samya Wellness offers mineral-infused treatments, crystal meditations and open-air yoga, and there is a 24-hour fitness centre.
• A 24-m-high open-air lobby where water runs through three tiers of pools, a pond-side building with a wedding chapel, dining venues and spa spaces, The Pavilion (an open-air space used for wellness in the morning and dining in the evening) and a heliport with views over the Ubud hills.
