Padang Padang Beach
Beach in Uluwatu (South Bali).
Padang Padang is a small white-sand cove below the cliffs of Pecatu, reached by a steep stairway that squeezes through a narrow gap in the rock. Its reef break is a famous wave for experienced surfers, while the sheltered shore allows a swim on calm days. It gets crowded from late morning, and monkeys on the stairs grab loose bags and snacks.
