Geger Beach

Beach in Sawangan (South Bali).

Geger Beach is a public white-sand beach at the southern edge of Nusa Dua, with the Pura Geger temple on a clifftop headland at its south end. Warungs and sunbeds on the sand are run by a local cooperative. A reef far offshore keeps the east-facing water calm and shallow, good for swimming and canoeing, and surfers take boats from the beach out to the powerful breaks on the reef.
