Mawun Beach
Beach in Tumpak (Islands).
Mawun is a horseshoe-shaped bay on Lombok's south coast, about 8 km west of Kuta, framed by two high green headlands, with soft white sand and clear turquoise water. The middle of the bay is usually calm enough for swimming and snorkeling, and reef breaks near either end draw surfers. A few simple cafes and shade trees back the sand, and the beach is seldom crowded.
